Do you know where the food you buy comes from?
Is all of it made in your country, or are the ingredients from all over but the package only made in your country?
Canada is announcing new label laws for food, that finally make sense. I mean I like to know what I am eating, but I also want to know where it comes from, not just the tin or plastic package.

Senator McCain and Clinton sure seem to think you can be, given their latest little gimmick called a Gas Tax Holiday. I mean, yes, the price of gas is outrageous, over $1.25 a Liter here, over $3.60 a gallon average in the USA, but is removing the Federal Taxes (about 18¢) going to help lower the price of food for you?
Will it make heating your home cheaper come winter? Heck will it even be passed on to you this summer, as the demand increases, but the supply remains limited?

If politics is your thing, why not check out Gay Talk ?

Over at Gay Talk , there are some pretty interesting remarks, regarding the recent departure of John Edwards from the Presidential Race for 2008.
It is the world we live in, so we should maybe take an interest in it.
After all, when we show our displeasure with the politicians by staying home, well we get leaders like George W. Bush & Stephen Harper.
Maybe we should try getting out, and VOTING THE ISSUES, instead of the Political Party, which seems to be the norm. Personally, I think we spend too much time on personalities, instead of finding out which candidate supports the issues we believe in.
Course that assumes there are any such Politicians out there.
